Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Spokane WA
239 AM PDT Fri Apr 11 2025
.SYNOPSIS...
Today looks to be a dry day across the region, followed by cool
and showery weather on Saturday. This weekend will also bring
colder overnight low temperatures. Temperatures will then trend
back upward heading into the early to middle part of next week.
&&
.DISCUSSION...
Today through Tonight: Behind the cold front, you can expect
lingering morning showers and cooler temperatures for today. Showers
will be mainly contained to far eastern WA and the ID Panhandle
through noon, before tapering off. Winds will generally remain
lighter through the day. Skies are clear this morning in central WA
will continue to spread eastward throughout the day.
Saturday through Sunday: A colder air mass sticks around Saturday
with more wind and scattered showers, including a rain/snow mix at
lower elevations in the mountainous areas. Elevated winds on
Saturday will die down overnight along with skies clearing out.
Expect freezing temperatures overnight into Sunday. Sunday will be
mostly sunny, calmer, and cool, with highs in the 50s and another
chilly night to follow.
Monday through Thursday: Dry and gradually warmer weather returns as
a weak ridge builds in. Temperatures will rise to near or slightly
above normal by midweek. Clouds may increase at times, with a small
chance of mountain showers, but overall the week looks mostly dry.

that VFR conditions will prevail.
