...New AVIATION...
.SHORT TERM...
(Today through Monday)
Issued at 246 AM EST Sun Nov 24 2024
Pleasant weather will continue across South Florida today as a
seasonably dry airmass remains entrenched over the area, resulting
in mostly clear skies and near zero rain chances. High pressure
will slide across the Florida Peninsula from the Southeast US,
which will turn surface winds to east-northeast today. This, in
addition to a slightly warming airmass will bring high
temperatures up from the past few days, ranging from the mid to
upper 70s across the area. Tonight`s lows will also be warmer than
recent days, ranging from the mid to upper 50s across interior
and SW FL, with low to mid 60s over SE FL. Monday will again be a
dry and pleasant day, while a weak mid-level trough moving over
the Keys will push a warmer airmass over the region. High
temperatures will climb into the upper 70s to low 80s.
&&
.LONG TERM...
(Monday night through Saturday)
Issued at 246 AM EST Sun Nov 24 2024
Overall, dry and pleasant weather conditions will continue across
South Florida for most of the long term period. A broad and deep
high pressure system will remain centered around the western
Atlantic, leading to persistent east-northeast flow over South
Florida. A gradual warming trend will take place through late in
the week, with highs in the low to mid 80s each day across the
area, and overnight lows in the 60s.
From late week to over the weekend, guidance is coming into better
agreement on deep mid-level troughing dropping across the Eastern
US, which would send a series of cold fronts across the FL Peninsula.
The first cold front looks to potentially move across South
Florida on Friday and may bring a few rain showers, but the bigger
impact would be a return to cooler than normal temperatures,
similar to what was seen the past few days.

.AVIATION...
(12Z TAFS)
Issued at 619 AM EST Sun Nov 24 2024
VFR conditions prevail through the period. Light sea breezes will
develop along both coastlines later today.
&&
.MARINE...
Issued at 246 AM EST Sun Nov 24 2024
Generally fair marine conditions through early in the week with
east-northeast flow around 5-10 knots across the local waters.
Seas will range from 2 to 4 feet across the Atlantic waters, and 2
feet or less over the Gulf waters.
&&
.BEACHES...
Issued at 246 AM EST Sun Nov 24 2024
A moderate risk of rip currents will remain in place across the
Palm beaches today due to the lingering effects of a northerly
swell. The elevated risk may continue for most of the upcoming
week along the Palm Beaches as the swell and onshore flow persist.
