.KEY MESSAGES...

1. A warming trend is expected to continue through the next week
week, with some locations in the Valley reaching triple digits
today and becoming more widespread tomorrow.

2. Dryness is expected to continue through the next week with
steady minimum RH`s in the 15 to 25 range in the Valley and in
the single digits for the Desert. Light winds will keep fire
risk low.

&&

.DISCUSSION...
The stable weather pattern is expected to continue today, with
the 500mb heights slightly increasing through the weekend,
causing a slight rise in temperatures. The Valley today can
expected mainly upper 90`s with some locations breaking into
triple digits, with tomorrow and through the next few days
seeing more widespread triple digits. It`s also likely for most
locations to see highs a couple degrees above 100 degrees due
to those increased heights.

Low relative humidity will also remain prevalent through the
next week as it has for the past several days, with the Valley
seeing minimum values in the 15 to 25 percent range and the
Desert seeing single digit percentages in the afternoon. Even
with these low values, calm winds will keep the fire risk from
becoming elevated.
