.Synopsis...
Dry and increasingly warm weather is expected for the rest of
this week, with well above normal high temperatures at the peak on
Friday and Saturday. This will result in some areas of Moderate
HeatRisk across portions of the Central Valley. A pattern change
to cooler and unsettled weather is expected by early next week.
This will bring showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly for the
mountains, foothills and northern Sacramento Valley, as well as
gusty southerly winds.

* Today:
  Breezy onshore winds continue into tonight in the Delta and
  Sacramento metro area bringing some cooler.

* Thursday - Late Week:
 -Periodic late day breezy onshore winds.
 -Dry and warm weather with above normal temperatures (10-15
  degrees) under upper level ridging, peaking on Friday and Saturday.
 -Areas of Moderate HeatRisk across the Central Valley Friday-
  Saturday. Probability of high temperatures 90 degrees F or
  higher: 60-90% across the Central Valley Friday-Saturday.
 -Gusty southerly winds Sunday. Probability of gusts 40 mph or
  higher: 45-85% northern and western Sacramento Valley, and
  northeast foothills.

* Monday - Tuesday
 -Gusty southerly winds on Monday. Probability of gusts 40 mph or
  higher: 35-65% northern and western Sacramento Valley, and
  northeast foothills.
 -Potential (10-20%) for isolated thunderstorms Monday northern
  Sacramento Valley and surrounding mountains/foothills, 10-15%
  for mountains on Tuesday.
 -Rain showers for the Sacramento Valley, foothills, and mountains.
  Probability of 0.10" or greater: 40-70% over the mountains and
  northern Sacramento Valley. Less than than 10% in the Valley
  south of I-80.

.Changes from previous forecast...
 -Gusty southerly winds on Sunday and Monday
 -Potential for light snow accumulations for high elevations early
  next week. Little or no travel impacts are currently expected.

VFR conditions across interior NorCal next 24 hours. Periods of
breezy southerly surface winds, with gusts up to around 20 knots
in the Sacramento Valley through around 11z tomorrow. Breezy
onshore flow in the Delta, with surface gusts up to around 25-30
