Wind southeast 15 knots increasing to south 20 near noon then diminishing to southwest 15 early this evening. Wind diminishing to west 10 near midnight then veering to northwest 10 Saturday morning. Wind becoming light Saturday afternoon.

Scattered showers ending Saturday morning with a risk of thunderstorms. Fog patches forming near midnight and dissipating Saturday evening.

Southern Lake Huron

Issued 11:21 AM EDT 27 June 2025 Conditions are favourable for the development of squalls with wind gusts up to 55 knots, frequent lightning and poor to very poor visibility in thunderstorms heavy at times.

Severe thunderstorms are expected to develop along a cold front late this afternoon into this evening.

Mariners are advised to prepare for potential squalls. Vulnerable vessels are most at risk and should seek safe harbour if underway. Consider delaying or postponing travel in areas under the Squall Watch.
