northeast-southwest over Explorer.
At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located on a line
northwest-southeast over northern Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today weakening frontal system located over the
Central Coast.
At 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday frontal system located over western Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Saturday frontal system located over Haida Gwaii.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:22 PM PDT 11 July 2025 A ridge of high pressure is developing over the southern waters which
will generate gale force westerly winds through the central and
eastern sections of Juan de Fuca Strait beginning late this afternoon
and continuing through this evening.
A frontal system will approach the northern waters on Saturday and
reach Haida Gwaii Saturday afternoon. Strong to local gale force
southerlies can be expected ahead of the system in Northern Hecate
Strait and Dixon Entrance East Saturday afternoon.
