Island.
At 10:30 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary ridge located on a line
north-south over Explorer.
At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located over northern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Haida Gwaii.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:29 AM PDT 10 July 2025 A frontal system is approaching the North Coast today, bringing
southeasterly gales to northern waters through the day. Winds will
weaken tonight as the system tracks inland.
A ridge of high pressure will redevelop over Southern Explorer on
Friday, generating gale force westerly winds through central and
eastern sections of Juan de Fuca Strait in the afternoon.
