Effective: Fri, 11/7 1:49am Severity: Minor
Updated: November 7, 2025 6:31 am Urgency: Expected
Expires: Fri, 11/7 10:30am Certainty: Likely

Areas Affected: Ventura County Beaches

Alert Details:
* WHAT...For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 5 to
8 feet and dangerous rip currents. For the Coastal Flood
Advisory, moderate coastal flooding possible.

* WHERE...Ventura County Beaches.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 3 AM PST Saturday.
For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 2 PM PST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of sea water is likely, around the time of

off beaches and rocks, and capsize small boats near shore.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide around 7 feet (MLLW) is
expected to occur between 7 AM and 11 AM. Low but present risk
for breaking waves at Ventura Harbor entrance and Ventura Pier.

Information:
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. Do
NOT drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.

Remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions, or stay
near occupied lifeguard towers. Rock jetties can be deadly in
such conditions, stay off the rocks.
