Alert Details:
* WHAT...West-northwest swell with a period of 14 to 15 seconds
will generate surf of 4 to 6 feet, with sets to 8 feet. Highest
surf will be south of Del Mar. Elevated surf combined with high
tides could lead to minor tidal overflow.

* WHERE...San Diego County Coastal Areas.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Strong rip currents and hazardous swimming
conditions for inexperienced swimmers. Minor tidal overflow
during high tides.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...High tide at La Jolla today will be 6.87
feet at 9:16 AM.

currents and other hazards such as minor tidal overflow are
likely. Caution should be used when in or near the water.
