* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 8 feet. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph. * WHERE...Yosemite NP outside of the valley. * WHEN...Until 10 PM PST Friday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes. Strong winds could cause tree damage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels around 7,000 to 8,000 feet through Tuesday, and lowering to 6,000 feet by Christmas Day. Information: If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
