* WHAT...Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.

* WHERE...Bakersfield, Caruthers - San Joaquin - Selma,
Delano-Wasco-Shafter, Fresno-Clovis, Hanford - Corcoran - Lemoore,
Merced - Madera - Mendota, Planada - Le Grand - Snelling,
Southeast San Joaquin Valley, and Visalia - Porterville - Reedley.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 11 AM PST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Affected highways include, but are not
limited to, California Route 41, 43, 46, 58, 99, 140, 152, 168,
180, and 198.

Alert Details:
* WHAT...Total snow accumulations 12 to 18 inches above 7000 feet.
Snow accumulations 4 to 10 inches above 6000 feet. Winds gusting
as high as 40 to 50 mph at the highest elevations.

* WHERE...A portion of central California.

* WHEN...From 10 PM Monday to 4 PM PST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning and evening
commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heaviest snow expected Tuesday into Tuesday
evening.
